Ex-gevangenen Eddie en Paul hebben een voorwaardelijke vrijlating en werken in een restaurant in New York. Het zijn de beste maatjes en een team, maar hun leven loopt dood. Dat wil zeggen, totdat de Engelse advocaat Katherine Rookwood het restaurant binnenwandelt met een aanbod dat ze niet kunnen weigeren. Haar plan brengt hen naar Londen. Hetgeen ze zoeken is een prachtig juweel genaamd de Blue Iguana. Tot dat moment hebben de capriolen van Eddie en Paul nooit ernstige gevolgen gehad maar deze keer staat er een psychotische misdaadbaas in hun weg.
